A public meeting has been set for the Upper Wapsipinicon Watershed Management Authority (WMA) Board on Tuesday, April 3rd @1:30pm in the Buchanan County Courthouse (210 5th Ave NE, Independence). The UWRWMA board is made up of representatives from cities, counties, and soil and water conservation districts and aims to address local water quantity and quality issues in the watershed.
This provides an opportunity to stay involved in the activities of the IWA and ask questions about the program. Meetings are open to the public and anyone is welcome to attend!
